SEOUL, June 4 (Yonhap) – S. Korean singer Kim Ho-joong will perform on stage with a world-renowned opera singer Plácido Domingo.

Kim will appear as a guest in Plácido Domingo's performance in Korea held at the outdoor theater of Busan Cinema Center on June 26 afternoon, according to the agency Think Entertainment on Saturday.

Plácido Domingo, who has performed as a "superstar" in the opera scene, is considered one of the world's top three tenors along with Luciano Pavarotti and José Carreras.

The staff from the agency said, "Kim has been invited to Domingo’s concert in Korea with his handwritten autograph," adding, "The singer will perform a duet stage with Plácido Domingo at the concert."

Earlier, Kim drew attention by ranking fourth in TV Chosun’s trot competition program "Mr. Trot.”

The singer, who also performed as a opera singer, was named "Tvarotti”(a combined word of trot and Pavarotti), and released a remake of "You or Me(translated),” "I love you more than me,” and "Grandmother" after the program ended.

He is expected to continue his performances after his discharge from the military on June 9.

Kim will drop a new song "With My Voice(translated)" for fans on the day of his discharge and will appear in "KBS 2022 Peace Concert" held at Cheorwon Stadium in Gangwon Province on June 11 afternoon.

Kim Ho-joong will also hold his national tour, starting with the concert in Seoul from Sept. 30 to Oct. 2.
