SEOUL, Sept. 9 (Yonhap) -- The Korea Heritage Service and the Korea Heritage Agency said Tuesday they will hold the "Yakdabang" event at Changdeokgung Palace from Oct. 1 to 23.

Visitors will be able to enjoy traditional tea and sweets at the Yakbang, a space that once housed the royal medical office during the Joseon Dynasty.

Guests can choose between two sets: hobakran, a pumpkin-based confection made by steaming or boiling pumpkin, mashing it and shaping it into sweets; or baeran, a pear-based confection created by simmering pear with honey or sugar before shaping it.
