(Damyang, South Jeolla Province, Sept. 11) — The southwestern county of Damyang in South Jeolla Province will hold the 13th "Goseo Grape Festival" from Sept. 26 to 28 at the Jeungamcheon Ecological Park, officials said Thursday.
Under the slogan "Goseo’s Legend Opens with Blue Grapes," this year’s festival will feature a range of programs centered on Shine Muscat grapes, including grape exhibitions and sales, a grape box folding speed contest, singing competitions, and performances by invited singers.
Visitors can purchase grapes at prices 10 percent lower than the market rate, with a delivery service available for bulk buyers, festival organizers said.
"We hope to showcase the new charm of Goseo grapes through Shine Muscat and encourage active participation," a festival official said.
