SEOUL, Feb. 9 (Yonhap) -- More South Korean stars are joining to spring into action and help those affected by the 7.8 magnitude quakes that hit southern Turkey and northern Syria.
Actress and singer Lee Hye-ri donated 50 million KRW to the Korean Committee for UNICEF, saying, “I wanted to contribute to the help UNICEF offers to those who are in need by providing food and drinking water for the children who lost their homes. I sincerely hope more people would pitch in to help those who were affected by the earthquakes.”
Actress Shin Min-ah also pitched in 50 million KRW to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association, according to her agency.
