SEOUL, Sept. 7 (Yonhap) -- Website commemorating S.Korean actress Kang Soo-yeon who passed away last May has opened.
The website (http://kangsooyoun.com) is composed of profile of the actress, screen credits, award records, and gallery that recorded her activities since the childhood.
Kang Soo-yeon's remains were moved to the cemetery in Yongin Memorial Park on her birthday , Aug. 18. QR code to access the website is engraved on the tombstone.
17th London Korean Film Festival, taking place in Nov., will play actress's films to commemorate the deceased and to admire her works.
Kang Soo-yeon, who debuted as child actor at the age of 4, received the nickname "World Star" after she won the best actress award at 1987 Venice International Film Festival with the film "The Surrogate Woman." She worked as a cultural administrator such as the head of committee for Busan International Film Festival but died of a cerebral hemorrhage last May.
