SEOUL, Nov. 14 (Yonhap) -- Min Hee-jin, the CBO of K-pop powerhouse HYBE Corp., will be revealing a new K-pop girl group through a new music label.
According to HYBE on Saturday, it will be establishing an independent music label called "All Doors One Room (ADOR) and appointed Min as its new CEO.
As the CEO of ADOR, Min will focus on taking new challenges in various fields of production, business, and marketing with its own music production and creative team.
Dubbed as "Min Hee-jin's girl group," the members will be selected through "Plus Global Audition," an audition project organized by HYBE and Source Music. Min will be leading the entire production process as well.
"We are ready to make another change in the music industry through the launch of this new label," Min said. "We will introduce artist IP (intellectual property rights) and contents that can show ADOR's unique color without fear of taking on new challenges."
Previously, Min was in charge of directing brands and concepts of famous idol groups such as Girls' Generation, SHINee, and EXO at SM Entertainment and earned recognition in the music industry for her original characteristics and form of expression.
After moving to HYBE, Min was also in charge of directing and designing the space of the company's new building in Yongsan, Seoul.
