Summons of ex-justice minister

Former Justice Minister Park Sung-jae appears at the office of special counsel Lee Myeong-hyeon's team in Seoul on Oct. 24, 2025, to be questioned as a suspect over allegations of government interference in a military probe into the death of a young Marine in 2023. Park is accused of helping then Defense Minister Lee Jong-sup leave the country last year to avoid an investigation by anti-corruption investigators. (Yonhap)
