SEOUL October 11 (Yonhap) -- South Korean group Sinhwa’s member Shin Hye-sung has been apprehended on sight while refusing to take a breathalyzer test. On top of his arrest, the car, artist was driving was register as stolen therefore, the police are investigating upon the stolen vehicle.
According to the Songpa police department on Tuesday, Shin Hye-sung was arrested near the 2nd Tan stream bridge within Songpa district seoul at 1:40 a.m. while refusing to take the breathalyzer test.
Police received a call addressing a stopped vehicle in the middle or the road, when they arrived at the scene, singer Shin Hye-sung was sleeping in the car, and when asked to take the breathalyzer test he refused to take one.
Moreover, the car Shin Hye-sung was driving has been registered as stolen, also the owner of the car stated “I do not know who Shin Hye-sung is” therefore the police will further the investigation on how he ended up in the drivers seat of a stolen vehicle.
Continuing on artist has a history of being caught driving under the influence in April of 2007. The blood alcohol level then was 0.097 percent which consists of the suspension of the driver’s license.
Shin Hye-sung who has debuted as a main vocal of Korean boy band Shinhwa in 1998 continues on with his music career as a solo artist and appears through various tv programs.
