SEOUL, June 17 (Yonhap) -- All time favorite Saxophonist Kenny G is returning back to the stage in South Korea.
A total of 4 shows are planned starting on September 15 at Busan Citizen’s Hall and at Daeyang Hall in Sejong University, Seoul on September 17, according to Go Entertainment on Sunday.
Kenny G originally planned on visiting Korea in 2020 but due severity of Covid-19 his plan got postponed until now which makes a total of 4 years since his last visit in 2018.
Starting with his latest songs from his album “New Standards” Kenny G is expected to play his previous hits. Kenny G band comprises a total of six musicians starting with a pianist, drummer, guitarist, percussionist, and bass player who will take the stage alongside Kenny G this September.
Kenny G, an American saxophonist who debuted in 1982 is a top tier artist who has sold over 75 million copies of his album throughout the world.
He was awarded “Grammy Award for best instrumental composition” in 1994. “Loving You”, “Going Home” and more hits were inserted in Korean advertisements and dramas leading to an increase of Kenny G’s fanbase in South Korea.
